Who are we?

DSI is a non-profit membership institute founded in 2009. We are incorporated in the state of Michigan. DSI's mission is to develop and implement leadership, experiential learning, and knowledge-application systems which improve individual, team, and organizational performance, accelerate innovation, to help build a strong and prosperous knowledge-based economy for our community. Or, more simply stated, we are an organization of people with a passion for developing dynamic solutions to real-life problems by “putting knowledge to work”.

DSI is a member of the
Michigan Nonprofit Association (MNA).

Our Mission

What does DSI do?

DSI is an exciting new applied-knowledge institute. We are currently offering the following:

• Seminars (open to the public)
• Workshops (both open to the public and private/customized)
• Focused classes (specialized topics customized for DSI clients)
• Members-only on-line resource center

DSI was founded in 2009, and opened its doors to the public on January 2, 2010. That was made possible due to the hard work and dedication of our operations start-up team and the generosity of our supporters. As the founders of DSI, we express our sincere appreciation to those who have worked with us to make DSI a success. We look forward to continued growth in membership, member benefits, and educational, grant, and other services in the future.

We believe that many individuals and enterprises can benefit from DSI membership, and that there are few missions as worthy of charitable contribution. Our scope encompasses many diverse disciplines, industries, and types of organizations. Whether you are considering an individual, corporate/organizational, or donor membership type, there are a variety of plans to choose from. The following questions may be helpful in making your decision:
